Deadlift

The deadlift is one of the "big 3" lifts for powerlifters and by far one of the best for putting on mass and judging strength. To perform, a loaded barbell (or trap bar) is picked up off the ground in a controlled, stabilized bent-over position till the shoulders are locked out and then lowered back to its "dead" position.
